What payment methods do you accept?
We accept a wide range of secure payment methods at checkout:

All payments are processed through a secure, PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. We never store your full card details on our servers. Accepted methods may be updated — check the checkout page for the latest options.
How do I know my order was placed successfully?
After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation email to the address provided at checkout. This email contains your order number, itemized summary, and billing details. If you don't see it within a few minutes, please check your spam/junk folder. If it's still missing, contact us at info@buyceylon.ca with your name and we'll look it up for you.

Can I modify or cancel my order after placing it?
Because we dispatch most orders the same day, our window for changes is very short. If you need to modify or cancel your order, please contact us immediately at info@buyceylon.ca or call 548-384-7721. Once an order has been picked and packed for dispatch, we are unable to make changes. If the order has already shipped, you may be able to initiate a return once it arrives.

Are all prices in Canadian Dollars?
Yes, all prices on BuyCeylon.ca are displayed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated. Applicable taxes (HST/GST) will be calculated and added at checkout based on your province. For US customers, your bank or payment provider will automatically convert CAD to USD at the current exchange rate.

Do you offer promo codes or discounts?
Yes! We regularly run promotions, seasonal sales, and offer discount codes for our subscribers. The best way to stay updated is to subscribe to our newsletter and follow us on social media. Promo codes can be applied at checkout in the designated discount field. Only one promo code can be applied per order, and codes cannot be combined with other offers unless stated.

An item I want is out of stock — will it come back?
We regularly restock our most popular products. If an item is showing as out of stock, check back in a few days or use the "Notify Me" option on the product page if available. You can also email us at info@buyceylon.ca and we'll let you know when it's back in stock. We reserve the right to discontinue products at any time without prior notice.

Can I place a bulk or wholesale order?
Absolutely! We welcome bulk and wholesale enquiries from restaurants, grocery stores, community organizations, and event planners. Please email us at info@buyceylon.ca with "Wholesale Enquiry" in the subject line, including what products you need and approximate quantities. We'll get back to you with pricing and a custom shipping quote.

Absolutely. BuyCeylon.ca uses SSL/TLS encryption to protect all data transmitted between your browser and our website. Payments are processed through a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. How quickly do you dispatch orders?
We dispatch the majority of orders the same business day they are placed (Monday–Friday). Orders placed on weekends (Saturday or Sunday) or on a statutory holiday are dispatched first thing the next business day — Monday morning for weekend orders. Once dispatched, you'll receive an email with your tracking number so you can follow your order in real time.

I'm in Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge or Guelph — how fast will I get my order?
Great news — you're in our local area! As a Kitchener-based business, we prioritize KWC and Guelph-area orders for the fastest possible delivery:
  • Most orders: Delivered within 24 hours of dispatch.
  • Almost all orders: Delivered within 48 hours of dispatch.
  • Very rare cases: Up to 3 business days (e.g. extremely high-volume periods).
Weekend orders are dispatched first thing Monday morning and typically arrive by Tuesday.

How long does delivery take across Canada?
Delivery times from dispatch (business days only):
  • KWC & Guelph: Mostly 24 hrs, max 48 hrs
  • Greater Toronto Area: 1–3 business days
  • Ontario (rest): 2–3 business days
  • Québec: 2–4 business days
  • BC & Alberta: 3–5 business days
  • Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Maritimes, Newfoundland, Territories: 3–5 business days
These are estimates. Actual delivery may be faster. Weekends and holidays do not count as business days.

Do you ship to the United States?
Yes! We ship to all US states. Most US orders are delivered within 3–5 business days from dispatch. The best part? We cover all customs duties and import fees on your behalf — you pay absolutely nothing extra at the door. The price you see at checkout is the final price. US customers receive full tracking from dispatch to delivery.

How do I track my order?
Every Buy Ceylon order comes with a tracking number. Once your order is dispatched, we send you a confirmation email containing your tracking number. Simply visit our Shipping page and enter your number in the tracker widget, or go directly to the carrier's tracking page. Tracking may take a few hours to update after dispatch while the carrier processes the shipment — this is normal.

How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs are calculated based on your delivery address, order weight, and dimensions, and are clearly shown at checkout before you confirm your order. All charges are in Canadian Dollars (CAD). We also offer free shipping on qualifying orders — check the current threshold at checkout or on our Promotions page. Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the error was on our part.

What happens if I'm not home when my parcel arrives?
If no one is available to receive the delivery, the carrier will typically leave a delivery notice card at your door with instructions on how to either schedule a re-delivery or pick up your parcel from a nearby depot. Check your tracking for the latest delivery status and instructions. If you live in an apartment, make sure your unit number is included in your shipping address.

Do you ship to P.O. Boxes?
Yes, we can ship to P.O. Box addresses within Canada. However, delivery to P.O. Boxes may take slightly longer than door-to-door delivery due to carrier routing. For the fastest possible delivery, we recommend providing a physical street address at checkout.

My tracking shows delivered but I haven't received my order. What do I do?
This can occasionally happen due to early scanning by the carrier. Please:
  • Check with all household members, neighbours, and building management.
  • Check your mailbox, front porch, side entrance, and any parcel lockers nearby.
  • Wait 24 hours — sometimes parcels are scanned as delivered slightly before physical delivery.
If your parcel still hasn't arrived within 3 business days of the marked delivery date, please email us at info@buyceylon.ca with your order number and we will investigate on your behalf.

Returns & Refunds

What is your return policy?
You can return most items within 3 days of receiving your order, provided they are unused, unopened, and in their original packaging. To start a return, email us at info@buyceylon.ca with your order number and reason for return. We'll send you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instructions. Returns sent without an RMA number will not be accepted.

What items cannot be returned?
For health and safety reasons, the following items are non-returnable unless they arrive damaged or defective:
  • Perishable goods (food items, teas, beverages, spices)
  • Health and personal care products
  • Any opened or used items
  • Gift cards and promotional items
  • Items marked as Final Sale or Clearance
  • Custom or special-order items

How long does a refund take?
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you by email. If approved, your refund is processed within 1 business day and returned to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional 3–10 business days to appear on your statement. Shipping fees are non-refundable.

My order arrived damaged or defective. What should I do?
We're sorry to hear that! Please email us at info@buyceylon.ca within 3 days of receiving your order with:
  • Your order number
  • Clear photos or a short video showing the damage or defect
  • A brief description of the issue
We will arrange a free replacement or full refund at no cost to you. Do not return the item unless specifically instructed by our team.

Can I exchange an item for a different product?
We only offer exchanges if the item you received was defective, damaged, or incorrect. We do not currently offer exchanges for change-of-mind reasons. If your exchange is due to our error, we will cover all return and re-shipping costs. If the original item is no longer available, we'll offer you a store credit or full refund. Contact us at info@buyceylon.ca within 3 days of delivery.

Who pays for return shipping?
It depends on the reason for the return:
  • Change of mind / unwanted item: Return shipping is the customer's responsibility.
  • Damaged, defective, or wrong item: BuyCeylon.ca covers all return shipping costs and will email you a prepaid return label.
We recommend using a tracked shipping method for returns, as we are not responsible for return parcels lost in transit.
I haven't received my refund yet. What should I check?
If your refund hasn't appeared yet, please follow these steps:
  • Check your bank account and credit card statements thoroughly, including pending transactions.
  • Contact your bank — refunds can take 3–10 business days to post depending on your institution.
  • Check your email for our refund approval confirmation.
If you've done all of the above and still haven't received it, email us at info@buyceylon.ca with your order number and we'll resolve it promptly.

Because our products are 100% natural and minimally processed, there can be natural variations in colour, texture, aroma, and appearance from batch to batch. Product photos are for illustrative purposes. Packaging may also be updated occasionally. These variations are a sign of an authentic, natural product — not a defect. No — you can check out as a guest without creating an account. However, creating a free account gives you benefits such as order tracking history, faster future checkouts, access to your order history, and the ability to save your delivery address.
